Overview

Seshy is a Discord bot built for Emergency Response: Liberty County (ERLC) communities, providing session automation, moderation tools, staff management, and ERLC integration. Seshy is not a registered business — it's owned and run by an individual (Discord: .unknownboi) alongside a small team of volunteers who help maintain and manage the bot.

This policy covers the Seshy Discord bot and any associated web pages (like this one). It does not cover Discord itself, or Roblox/ERLC — those platforms have their own privacy policies which govern how they handle your data.

Data We Collect

Seshy is configured entirely through Discord slash commands — there is currently no web dashboard or login system that collects data from you directly.

Server configuration data

Whenever a server sets up a feature (session settings, moderation rules, welcome messages, branding, etc.), Seshy saves that configuration in a JSON file keyed by the Discord server ID. This is the core of what Seshy stores.

User-specific data

By default, Seshy does not store your Discord user ID or username. The exception is when a server administrator specifically configures a feature that requires it — for example:

In these cases, only the Discord ID(s) needed for that specific feature to function are stored — never message content, and never anything beyond what's required to run the feature a server owner has chosen to enable.

ERLC / Roblox data

For servers that connect an ERLC API key, Seshy sends requests to the official Roblox ERLC API and displays whatever data that API returns (player lists, kill logs, command logs, bans, etc.) inside Discord. Seshy does not independently collect this data outside of relaying what the ERLC API provides.

How We Use It

Data stored by Seshy is used solely to make the features you've configured work as intended — for example, remembering your session ping role, enforcing your whitelist, or keeping a record of a moderation action so staff can review it later. We do not use stored data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running the bot's features.

Third-Party Services

Seshy does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services. The only external service Seshy communicates with is the official Roblox ERLC API, used strictly to send commands to and receive data from a server's connected ERLC game server. No data is shared with any other outside party.

Data Retention

Configuration and log data is generally kept for approximately 6 to 24 months, after which it is manually cleared out. If a server removes Seshy, its associated data isn't necessarily deleted immediately, but falls under this same general cleanup window rather than being retained indefinitely.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep stored data — including any API keys or configuration data — secure from unauthorized access. That said, no system is ever 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection against every possible breach.

Children's Privacy

Seshy does not have its own age restrictions beyond what Discord itself requires. Per Discord's Terms of Service, users must be at least 13 years old to use Discord, and by extension, Seshy.

Your Rights

You can ask us to tell you what data we hold that's tied to your Discord ID, or ask us to delete it, by reaching out through the contact methods below. Server owners can also remove Seshy from their server at any time, and can ask us to wipe their server's stored configuration data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as Seshy's features change — for example, if a web dashboard with its own login is introduced in the future. We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever changes are made.
